God has this way of constantly surprising me with flowers at just the perfect time. He knows me so well.
A few months ago I went out to lunch with a dear friend and we shared all that had been going on in our lives. She shared with me how God had blessed her and her family with more than they needed right when they were worried they wouldn't have enough. As we sat in the middle of Chic-fil-a and cried sharing stories about God's faithfulness I was flooded with peace knowing that God would provide in my own trials.
After our 2 hour fast food lunch I returned to my office to find a beautiful vase of flowers with an encouraging note on my desk. God knew that I needed that pick me up and he blessed me in a very visible and tangible way. God's timing with those flowers was perfect, but then again, His timing ALWAYS is perfect.
I never expected that God would do the exact same thing for me again, but He tends to prove me wrong often. Yesterday was another day full of trials and frustrations. This morning bright and early I sat down with my "Arkansas Mom" Linda to share with her all that is going on in my life and to spend time praying together. After a lengthy conversation I walk out of her office and look in the door of mine and find a beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting on my desk.
I know these seem like such small insignificant things, but I truly believe that God works through other people constantly to show His love to His children. I'm thankful and blessed to serve such a loving God who sends me flowers to brighten my days.
